Gittin OldI started the bondo work today. That 80 grit on a sanding board will wear a fella out.

Thanks for the tips J. I will look into the USC Icing. Is it used in place of spot putty?Got it..
I almost never use 80 grit here, I'll make the filler flat with 36-40 grit then use a light weight filler (USC Icing 26006) to fill the scratches and go to 100- 150 to flatten that, primmer and finer grits after that.
Look into USC Icing as yo get closer..
Yes, I'll make the area flat with the 3m light weight filler and use 24-36-40 grit. The courser grits get the panel flatter/faster for me (if I use 80 grit I might wipe over at the end just to knock the tops of the scratches down) then I'll use the Icing (spot putty) and lighter grit to finish the repair...Is it used in place of spot putty?
