Love a good 105! Reminder for the group, this thread is for US Market cars specifically, so maybe it would be a good idea for someone to make a separate thread for very base spec non - USA cars to get posted in (if it doesn't already exist)

The cloth interior, no sunroof, or no third row cars are pretty rare in America so would be nice if we could keep this thread a bit more focused.

Doh, I sped-read, missed "Market" in "US Market," and posted since my J105 is now in the US. My apologies on that. <facepalm>

Adding another one to this list:
1. 1999 UZJ100 River rock green
2. JT3HT05JXX0065142
3. No name uno (at this time)
4. 197k miles
5. Grey cloth interior, no sunroof, no locker, no second row heat, no spoiler
It does have the 3rd row seats with 3rd row roof mounted air control, rear cargo windows do pop out, roof rack, side steps
6. All stock (for now)
7. Daily driver for the time being

I’m the third owner, got it from a family in Reno. No rust!
I was looking for a white 03+ cruiser for daily driving but I couldn’t pass this up.
First order of business is getting on top of the maintenance with timing belt, water pump, accessory belt, alternator, power steering pump/reservoir/ lines, starter, coil packs, sparks, fuel pump and filter, heater Ts, radiator and maybe a few others things.
Then fixing some interior trim and removing the aftermarket JVC head unit for an OE head unit.

It needs tires and an alignment and I might do a little suspension work.

Let me know what you think!

what a find and score!! super jealous...you have a long list of buyers if you ever sell.

FOR SALE- read further

Gentleman, I’ve been duped.

I figured getting the carfax for my new poverty pack would be prudent to see where it’s been, some maintenance records, etc. I should have got the carfax before the purchase…
Turns out the previous, previous owner to me had swapped gauge clusters prior to selling to the family I got it from. The car had 320k miles in 2018 and then when it was newly registered in Reno in 2019, it had 138k miles.
Fricken slimeball. This was not disclosed to the family before me, and when I mentioned it to them, I could tell they were shocked.

Anyways, I was overzealous in my purchase and I’m realizing that I don’t have time to do all the maintenance on it now, especially now that it is approaching 400k miles.
Funny thing though is it does not drive like a 400k mile car. Maybe closer to 300k miles.
All suspension arms were swapped (front upper/lowers, rear trialing arms as well) in the last 3 years as well as the rack and pinion.
I was looking for a car that I didn’t have to immediately work on and that I could just drive comfortably as a daily.
So I’m selling it now.
Like I said in my first introductory post, I was looking for an 03+ in white. I’d be happy to trade as well. But if you’re interested in purchasing this poverty pack (river rock green mica posted above) then let me know. Give me a fair offer. I have tons of pictures and the carfax I can send to you but now we know this one has high miles!
