Are you trying to make us jealous with your non-US LC? Well, it worked.

Poverty pack (cloth, non-moonroof, etc.) is less of a novelty elsewhere.

Hi Folks!

I've followed this thread for years, and I had always dreamed of finding a cloth interior'd US 100 series until it became a reality 2 years ago. I have always been meaning to post on here but better late than never!

1. 1998
2. JT3HT05J2W0007475
3. Cloth 100 series (I don't really name my cars)
4. 320,000 Miles
5. Cloth, but has every other option (sunroof, third row, rear heat, power rear quarter windows, rear diff locks, running boards, roof rack)
6. 100% stock, no modifications
7. I drive it one a week around town, but I am lucky enough to have another 100 series so mainly drive that one

It only had one owner before me, and luckily he stayed on top of the maintenance so it runs great. Only problem is somehow his daughter misplaced the third row seats!

Under 65,000

No 3rd row, sealed quarter windows (due to no 3rd row) ZERO port add ons (documented not removed) no roof rack, no running boards, no hitch, no rear spoiler (wing), no nav and no ugly laminate wood grain.

No Mods (bone stock)

Was special ordered at Toyota Glendale Ca. He did not want moonroof or leather either but could not find a dealer that could do that. I believe 98-99 was the only year you could order that in the US, not sure though. Was used very little was the ski trips vehicle. Just purchased 2 weeks ago and drove it from San Francisco to San Diego and it drove like a brand new car, unreal. It’s literally a time capsule.

Wow, Amazing find! If you are ever looking to sell, I would be very interested. I think this is the best color combination for the 1998-2002. I don't think I've ever seen another 2000 without the third row.

Great find and amazing to see a 2000 without a third row.

How did you discover it to buy it?

What is a number I can text you?

I cannot get or send messages through the forum.

If you email me at thomasret937@gmail.com I can send over my phone number.
I have NEVER seen a 2000 with no 3rd row. I was under the assumption it that 98-99 was the only years the 100 could be “ordered” and late 98 for that matter so some non 3rd rows came out as a 99 model year, again I could be wrong and probably am.

The PO of this truck said he contacted almost every dealership nation wide and none would order a 100 without 3rd row or port add ons. He finally got Glendale Toyota in California to do it. It was a 9 month lead time for no 3rd row and he said a nightmare to get them to do it. Had to pre pay in full to order it how he wanted. He said if he didn’t pay in full the option of no port add ons was off the table.

Guess Toyota knew what the US markets need where and didn’t want to run the risk on someone backing out? No clue!

Good Morn!

Just got a Google alert that King's Chariot has posted a Cloth Interior'd 1999 Land Cruiser for sale for anyone interested. Unfortunately they did their classic suspension lift and hideous wheels, but hopefully someone puts the factory wheels back on this LC. According to the Carfax it was a one owner car in Tennessee before they bought it, and this has a rear locker. Obviously this is not my car, and someone please save this!
For Historical documentation: they were asking $33,200 for this

1. 1999
2. JT3HT05J8X0069433
3. King's Chariot
4. 131,000 Miles
5. Cloth upholstery
6. Suspension lift, wheels that do not match the character of this car...

It’s a shame KC snagged that, I was just talking to someone who bought a LC from them and it was all aftermarket junk he had to replace with OEM again.

I love all the cloth in this thread. One day maybe I’ll find a cloth Hundy to buy until then I’ll just sit here with envy.

Love a good 105! Reminder for the group, this thread is for US Market cars specifically, so maybe it would be a good idea for someone to make a separate thread for very base spec non - USA cars to get posted in (if it doesn't already exist)

The cloth interior, no sunroof, or no third row cars are pretty rare in America so would be nice if we could keep this thread a bit more focused.
