He is doing a test fit on the first one in ~2 weeks.I'd love to see the kit installled on a 100.
To update everyone, the language on the website around welding / reinforcing your own existing OEM control arms is incorrect, and he is updating the website now.DIY kit is ready for pre-order. Base kit is $2.4k.
It wasn’t clear at first but this DIY kit involves cutting your existing control arms and reinforcing them. I’ve messaged Justin to see how this differs from the welded kit (or to confirm that this is in fact a mistake on his website). He didn’t mention this originally.

Someone is (supposedly) having it installed next week by Kamono.Looking through the website now and I’m wondering if there is any proof of fabrication work actually completed or is this all concepts of a plan?
By effective, I think he means cheapest route. I’m getting this kit and am going to upgrade my CVs.The most cost effective route is to cut and extend your existing CV axles.
I carry 2 spare axles so I can’t imagine anyone throwing $10k+ at parts and still having the factory cvs.
Upgrade to what? What companies even make upgraded stock or extended length axles for this platform?By effective, I think he means cheapest route. I’m getting this kit and am going to upgrade my CVs.

RCV will make axles for this from what I’ve been told / have researched.I believe there are a few guys running RCV axles.
If Tundra shafts are compatible with 100 series joints that could be a very sweet solution.
They're not directly compatible. Russian Alex did this last year using Tundra spindles and was going to go this route, but I think he he ended up just extending the originals. The inner end is different between the 100 and Tundra, iirc. Pretty sure he's had a set made since. If Tundra shafts are compatible with 100 series joints that could be a very sweet solution.
Fake news. The axles pictured are shortened 3rd gen tundra axles which have been resplined to accept the 100 series inner joint. 3rd gen shaft is 31 spline and 2nd gen tundra and 100 series are both 30 spline. They're not directly compatible. If anyone decides to go with this +2 kit I think its worthwhile to try to build a cv with inner and outer oe 100 joints and a 2nd gen tundra shaft which is about 1.75-2” longer (I’d have to measure again) and is splined the same.
Rcv wants a minimum of 10 sets to make a custom length axle for the 100 series.
Not sure where you heard that RCV wants a minimum of 10 sets, but the shop that is going to be installing this kit on my 100 series knows that RCV will make me a custom axle, since they have connections there and have had RCV make custom axles before.Fake news. I hope you’re right and I’m wrong. My buddy Zach is having a long travel kit designed for his 100 and he called rcv to order a +3” over stock and they wouldn’t make him just one set.Not sure where you heard that RCV wants a minimum of 10 sets, but the shop that is going to be installing this kit on my 100 series knows that RCV will make me a custom axle, since they have connections there and have had RCV make custom axles before.
Will that kit also be readily available in the market or will it just be a one off?I hope you’re right and I’m wrong. My buddy Zach is having a long travel kit designed for his 100 and he called rcv to order a +3” over stock and they wouldn’t make him just one set.
