I need suggestions on headlight improvements on the 1999 hundred that we have. The headlights absolutely suck compared to my 2005 Tundra.

Go to LED thread. Stark LEDs in 9005/9006 world of a difference.

The LEDs @Bomar recommended make a HUGE difference. Unfortunately, if the lights on your '99 are like most of the other ones of that age, all of your reflective material is gone.....that's probably the main reason they suck as badly as they do.

If you're going to keep it, @ranma21 imports DEPO-brand lights that are the one-piece '06-'07 design that fit in place of the 2-piece '98-'05 models. They look great, and they're bright! 98-2005 Landcruiser DEPO 1 piece clear head lamp Interest (He said he should have a new shipment in in about 8 weeks)

Mine are so bright with the Stark bulbs I feel bad pulling up behind people at lights.

The housings are quite a bit cheaper than the guy here on Mud. I wonder if they are the same ones?

Wrong light. That's the actual replacement for the '06-'07. They won't fit '98-'05 100s. The one he imports look like those, but they fit the earlier models.

retrofit them. Way better output than jamming HIDs or LED in halogen housings
