Bulbs ordered. Those projectors are badass though.

It really is an easy 3 beer task. I just followed the thread on the last LC 100 and got it done in an hour. the headlights pop right out in a LC, but I broke the lower trim pulling the headlights out of this LX. I've even converted my '89 wrangler as well with the TRS projector kit and am doing a set of 7" round headlights this weekend for CJ7 for my HIH6 copilot Brennan. Its hard to go back once you get used to them

Can't wait.....the suspension on ours is killing me. It's so worn out that the 40 with s*** lift springs and straight up and down shackles takes dips better.

The rear shocks on our 100 are okay, its just the metal protective sleeve squeaks so bad, any lateral movement and its a squeak. Its coming from the top mounting point on the passenger rear shock. I sprayed grease, tightened the upper bolt, it sucks because the shocks are working fine, our 100 just sounds like a hoopdi driving down the road

I replaced everything that moves under my 100 and any squeak, rattle, and clunk went away. Everything to do with suspension and steering has been replaced except tires. Can't decide if I want 285's or 295's

Did you go with oem or slee control arms? So far I've done all of the sway bar stuff. Shocks are next and then sway bars.

Oh nice. I was looking at rock auto too. I think I'm getting noise from my rear passenger shock, maybe one of the control arms, and the PO did cut off the oem muffler, welded in a flow master and 3 inch pipe from the muffler back. The diff is hitting the exhaust pipe and making a ton of noise, plus the loud exhaust. I'm getting that fixed this weekend with the oem diameter pipe 2.5in? And a quiet oem muffler

Love my 295s. no rub at all with no lift. Really got my eyes on lifting it enough to clear 315s....

My 295/70/18 Terra Grapplers were 34's and I really could tell the difference I power feel from them and the 305/6518's which are 33's but wider.

Does not seem like it would matter but that little bit makes a difference. Bomar felt it too when he borrowed my truck.

That said, 315's would look pimp but you will damn sure notice that power loss.

Is there a comparable tire to the 305/65/18 in 16" wheels? If so, I'm convinced it's the perfect tire for the 100.

305/70R16 is a 33x12.50

BFG KO2, Nitto, Mickey Thompson and several others available in that size. Online calculators put your 305/65R18s at 12" wide...so 12.50 might be too much?
