Love my 80... Will there one day be a 100 beside it, possibly, but never in place of it
Agreed. I've got an 80, and I love it. But it 95% doesn't compare with a 100.

Live with one for only a couple of days, and you'll understand.

I have some spidertrax spacers for sale too if anyone needs any.

I only have a single set. Mounted, and then immediately dismounted. What's a fair asking price?

I'm not sure I'm ready to give up the 80, but keep looking at these hundies. Seems like a decent deal down in NOLA

For Sale 1998 Lexus LX470
Like others on here have said (including me): if you live with a 100 for a little while, you'll wonder why you didn't "upgrade" sooner. That's not to say you should sell your 80, it's just to say that maybe you should own BOTH!

@dnp .... I know, I know. And, as wngrog pointed out, I'm right at that turning point in my slow 80 build. Starting over wouldn't be too bad, I just really like the classic 90s look of the 80 but really want that all day comfort of the 100 and V8!

I feel your pain. I still have a '96 80, and I have no plans to sell it. Underpowered and comparatively-crude as it is, I love that truck!

On the other hand, the 100 is just SO dang nice to drive every day.........and in stock form, it's prolly 92.78% as capable as a stock 80.

Keep the 80, because, well, it's an 80, and it's SO cool. Add a 100, because I can tell you you'll be glad you did (and the Lexus is a 1/2 step up in DD comfort).....
