OK I found a killer deal on a 2005 Double cab Tundra. Same motor as the 100 series. 74" bed that I can put a camper shell on and a RTT. Lots of aftermarket suspension available. The only bad I can find, which Ardenne actually pointed out, is the turning radius. 100 is 40 and Tundra 47. Weight carrying capacity and usuable storage space and sleeping platform would be easier in the Tundra with a camper and would not have to fold seats to access more cargo space. Fridge would fit in cab back seat area and still have room for three people in the cab. The ARB bumper I bought will work on the Tundra with mounting bracket mods only. Am I going crazy?

172k We need to sleep at two usually and now it seems sleeping 3 will be the norm so a sleeping platform in the camper and the RTT if needed are necessary. Our daughter slept in the 100 on this past trip with no platform and it was a pain in the ass to load and unload just to make room to sleep and then to reload to move out. Everyone else was ready a lot quicker than we were.

Put that fire out David! :)

100 all the way.

Some really cool drawer builds out there that allow for easy gear storage and a sleeping platform in the 100. Be an easy build for you.

Space is what killed me on the Big Bend trip and I don't know if a drawer system in the 100 could handle all the crap needed for a family.

That's what M416s are for.

I don't think you could go wrong with either set up. Whatever suits your family best.

If you go with the truck, I hear those bumper mods are a pita. You should probably just sell me that front bumper and try to hunt down another one for the truck. So, yeah, I vote truck :)

Just met a nice man. Dr Wallace Weatherby. Orthopedic

I stalked him and his sweet LX

He has 6 of them. This one only has 76,909 miles.

All his kids have one.

He also highly recommended the LS430

Non Mud Cruiserheads of a different feather are cool to meet

The wife's LX is gold, it hasn't had a bath since I got hurt and still looks clean.
