I would save money and go with this lift.

BOSS Lift Kit for 95.5-04 Tacoma

Keep OE UCAs they will last 3x as long as all the others.
x2 on what Bomar said. Couldn't be happier with my Toytec lift on my 120. If you DO decide to go UCAs, try Light Racing's SPC models (Slee sells them, and so does Toytec). They use conventional-style ball joints, not the squeaking uniballs. Plus, the ball joint is replaceable, and they're very adjustable.

I am having to go back and grease the SPC bushings with moly grease.
Uniball problem is solved with SPC but they couldn't keep the squeak out of the bushings.

Thankfully, I've not experienced that issue (but because I just said that, I'm sure I now will)

Bushings were packed with waterproof grease when installed. I used the same method as I did on the tundra years ago. You should be fine for a while. Main thing is bolt torque. If the bolt loosens up over time moisture/water will build up causing it to squeek.

SPC knew exactly what I was saying and proceeded to state this is an every 2yr maintenance issue.

Squeak came on almost 2yrs after installing. I'll check bolt torque and regrease this weekend

I paid $234 for the last set of SPC I got for a 2002 Tundra. I have no idea what a set of OEM run, @beno?

EDIT: Seems the price of the control arms has gone up significantly since the last set I purchased. Average price then was $299-$399, current price seems to be $500+. I guess they realized Cruiser guys will fork out the dough.

The beauty of SPC is you can get alignment specs back. So pay for UCA's or pay for new tires sooner later.

im going to get some for sure. dont mind the $ ....my front end was too screwy to begin with....im waiting on the new wheels, then will assess the UCAs

I get bored with tires way before they wear out.

Can't deal with no sqeakin
You get bored with cruisers before the oil wears out

Buy racing type parts... put in the racing type maintenance. I have Total Chaos uppers to retain proper alignment with lift, and stock lower control arms. The uniballs on the TC uppers wear out after about 18-24 months. You have to press the uniballs in/out of the control arms when replacing, so its a bit of a task. I replaced the OEM lower control arm ball joint with a sealed Moog ball joint that is greasable. Poly bushings on UCAs last me 3X as long as uniballs, as long as you grease them regularly.
