Syn oil stabilizer? Necessary?

I'm cheap and go to walmarts and by the 5w-30 mobil 1 ep. Last 15k miles or 1 yr and 25 bucks for 5 qts.

I had a case of it left over from my hot rod 6.0 in the buggy.

I looked it up on the Amsoil site and everything looked good for my use

I usually use 5w-30 so marginal difference.

As for the Lucas additive. I've been using it on every oil change in every Cruiser in 20 years so there us that.

10,000 miles in 2 years ie one oil change. I can afford it.

This was expensive. I went 2 two tractor supply stores and everyone was out of the JT6 90 wt I like so I bought 8 quarts of this and dumped it into my 5 gallon pump

Sorry, crap picture. Its Lucas synthetic 90wt

Gotcha. I thought you had specifically bought Amzoil in 0W-30 for use in your current truck. The "0" still seems a little on the thin side to me - especially in this summer heat - but if Amzoil says it's OK, I'm sure it is.........

The diff fluid looked new. Likely a complete waste of $120 but what the hell.

Edit....the front diff fluid looked new because it was. @wct49 did my CVs 9000 miles ago.

Transfer and rear diff fluid needed it.

The love affair I once held for the 80 series has completely and totally waned after this last 2 years of 100 series ownership.

This vehicle is truly spectacular.

If you like the 100 you love the 200. It rides so much better and the power differential is unreal or my 100 had an effed up motor.
I had a road rage incident with a guy in a dodge hemi pulling a 60's street rod and he pulled away from me like I was broke down on the highway
in a VW bug. My most embarrassing day in the hundy.

Nothing like the peace of mind KNOWING they're clean / full

I have the urge to buy them all
I feel your "pain" on that.....

I'm sure I'll end up with a 200 one day. Never say never.

My motor is plenty until I tow something then it's a bit weak.

This thing is the last of the non electronic US Cruisers. ELocker, non nav. Transmission dipstick/drain plug, single a/c. It's awesome.

I heated this bitch up with the heater and the sun and peeled off the walnut today.

The first pieces I got to when it was super hot came off perfectly.

As it cooled I left some glue.

That s*** is unreal. I am stubborn and picked it all off and used Goof Off.

If anyone else does this just peel off what goes easy then reheat the truck. It takes much less time to reheat it than to pick the cold glue off

You can see the bit in front of the shifter. Brutal.

I actually like the looks of this stuff but mine was faded in some spots.

I realized I forgot the stupid Cupholder cover so I heated the truck again and this s*** is baked on here. I've marred it and my hands to death. I may just see if I can get a new one. Awful.
