I'm gonna go with the comfort model...since I'm on-road literally 99.9% of the time it seems like that's the way to go. If they are too soft can always switch them out I guess.

After almost a year of ownership it's time to start on the Pink Panty Project. I picked up this 98 LX470 last June off Craigslist. I was going to make it my new driver but I couldn't bring myself to go from my 80 to a 100 so it has set. With the good news that my wife is expecting our third child this is the perfect opportunity for an inexpensive vehicle with a 3rd row and rear ac. Previous Owner said it blew a hose and he ran it to make it to the next exit. The heater hose T was rigged up with some copper fittings from Home Depot but the damage was already done. Head gasket is blown on the passenger side. I will be tearing it down for inspection and my hopes are the bottom end has survived. DNP and I got it started today and moved out of the corner of the shop and started prepping it for the surgery first thing Monday morning. It is essentially a mobile fog machine as it filled my whole shop and parking lot with dense white smoke as it putted from one side of the building to the next. Oil looks like a milk shake. We will see what the rest looks like on Monday. Stay tuned.

**Beno I hope to have you a parts list together by Tuesday. **

Congrats Rob!

Keep it rolling Bomar!

Got the passenger side head pulled off. I have a valve that is stuck open. Looks like it got so hot that the valve guide welded itself to the valve. Also have abnormal cylinder wall wear on that cylinder. So it's looking like I will be hunting an engine after all. I'm limited to 98-00 Lc or lx for a replacement.

The good news for the early 100 series owners is mine is proof that even if the valve is stuck open it will not come into contact with the piston. So if your timing belt breaks it will not bend the valves.
