Yeah Icon has been in the 100 market for a little over a year. Have been getting good reviews. I don't know that I could ever justify remote resi shocks (icon remote resis are about $2500)...my crappy AHC seems to do fine for everything I need to do.

I have landed on the Ironman foamcell pro's (same shock as Andrew just put on his 200), but they aren't out for the 100 yet. They should be in the same $ ballpark as the Icon's. Maybe Chris can get an ETA?

All the bad reviews I have read are the standard song/dance from people going from stock to a lifted setup and complaining that the ride isn't the same. No sh*t it's not the same...

With companies like Icon starting to field 100 equipment I think the market will really take off. Espeically with the latest ones being about 7 years old now. I am amazed at what a 2004 with 150k still brings in!!!

Bomar. The Fox that I have seen are not for lifted applications

I'd guinea pig them for the price I have seen if I knew they would work right.

I put Bilstein on my last 100 and they were great. They did not have a lift shock

But they so nice, dog.

Oh and if Foam Cell Pros cost $1000 I'll pass. Overall my truck rides great.
I'm with ya on the 4-figure shock sets.......

My truck rides like TOTAL crap with these OME Sports (and they're even the "non-firmer" part numbers for the front! I, too, am considering Iron Man Foam Cells (non-pro), but I've got to do more research.

My last 100 had OME Sports in the front and older OME non-sports in the rear, and it actually rode fairly well. I'd just rather have a matched set of whatever I decide to get.

I'll start some earnest research and let y'all know what I find for consideration.

My first step will be to contact JT. I'm betting he's already got the 100 shock research filed away......

The biggest problem is getting honest feedback from someone that drops 1000-1500 on shocks.

It's like diesel MPG. People lie like crazy because they are not about to admit they paid $1000-1500 on something and it sucks.

HWY 49 from Florence to Richland northbound is my litmus test if anyone wants to meet at 6 Flags over Cholesterol (Berry's) and drive that section with different shock combos......

Hey, JT............

I got nothing.

I love the 100 series. They were ridiculously comfortable on the trails this past weekend, and Ginny looks super hot driving hers around. But, I just can't get excited about working on them or dedicating precious research time to them.

When I can't sleep at night (which is all the fxxxing time), I'm on Pirate reading Nolen's 20 year old build threads.

I'm following y'all's lead on this one...assuming y'all don't decide that $1000+ shocks are the way to go (OUCH!). If you do, then I'll just keep bitching about how rough hers rides.
