These Ironmans are nice. 2 year warranty to boot. No muss no fuss. Rebuildable too.

And the FOX that I found were not made for more than 1" lift.

When you decide let me know, I would like to see if they are an upgrade over my OME Sports. They really don't do well when you hit any kind of hole of large bump.

With the extra time on my hand....i am thinking about shocks.

Should I just pull the trigger on fox 2.0s for about $110 each or hold for Ironman foams?

no EFFFINNNN way.

Get a set of intake gaskets while your at it.
I got this all buttoned back up this AM and it runs great. (I do have a small coolant leak on the little hose below the throttle body. I had a hard time with it and it did not survive.)

FSM states those intake gaskets are not reusable so I should have ordered a new set just for that reason alone.

However, they cleaned up real nicely and are functioning properly.

Thinking I will also replace fuel injectors as they are a little brittle at almost 200k and need to go another 200k.
I will leave it for you with the TB job next week.

Cheers!

One thing that did seem odd when taking off the plenum is this carbon build up.
Is this normal for the 2UZ ?

I assume it is just because the fuel injector spray can't reach these areas...

I have a set of foam cell rears going on a 100 next week. The fronts are still waiting to be shipped. The port strike has IronMan held up.

Effin unions...

I'm also waiting on the Foam Cell Pros. When they start shipping, i'm pulling my AHC and going that route.

call me you are ready. Lets see what kinda deal I can do for you.

That is the plan. No way I'm tackling that on my own. I'm no @MScruiser :)

C'mon Andy. All it takes is a Harbor Freight jack, and a lot of liquid courage.

I get waaay dumber when I hit the liquid courage...try to stay as far away from hammers and other tools as I can :)

Got a spot for you on our Arkansas Truck Camping Run in May. Be a good shakedown run for that beautiful 200 you've got!

I want to.
