Trying out some mug handle slots per a customers request, looking forward to seeing some pics of this when they’re installed.

Also printing a test of the rear window switch panels, if all goes well then those should be up on the site by Sunday evening. One version with a single switch, one completely blank (rear switch delete to keep pups from stepping on it), and possibly one with a built in cubby too.

Won’t be utilizing the factory ashtrays.

Very impressive! Keep the toys coming!

Just read through the whole thread, you're doing some awesome work! I'm definitely eyeing that paper towel holder for the rear, I like the functionality a lot.

I will also toss my hat in the ring as a willing buyer to the dog cooler vents if you can find a solution, I think it would help immensely! Keep up the great work!

Awesome stuff--will def get the cupholder at some point. Have you considered a scangauge mount for your ashtray adapter?

Definitely have seen a lot of folks using scangauges on these rigs, if there’s interest I could definitely do that.

Good deal--count me in for one.

Couple updates!

Got the quickfist mount just about finished, see below:

Note: I do not recommend hanging an unsheathed axe up here, this is just for the photo op. I think it'd be a great spot for a camp shovel, bike helmets, maybe a jack handle? Endless possibilities.

Also made some updates to the window switches, the rear panel designs are completed, Lexus/Toyota logos available as options (black inlays will be standard on all colors except black, which will have white inlays), Primordial Earth is now a color option as it perfectly matches the beige door handles.

Printing up some rear switch panels for photos now.

The rear switch panels will have their own product page going up this afternoon due to the number of options (Color, Inlay logo, Switch Delete or not, etc.) but the bundle pricing for the front and rear set will automatically apply in cart.

The Axe mount looks like it will be good for 4Runners and many different LC series.

I think you're right! Anything that uses that big long M11X1.25 should work fine with that and the paper towel holder.

Ill get some good pictures and send them your way! thanks for working with me on the update. this should keep her coffee mugs off the center console!

I just realized the TC shifter knob will work for a long list of Toyota products. That's a common TC knob size.

For sure! Just varies on the orientation of High/Low between models. Made a couple for some GX guys recently.

I use my LC for road trips, with all seats occupied. Is there any other options you can think of for more cupholders elsewhere in the car? If you each have a Yeti coffee cup and a water bottle, your out of luck.

The handle cut out will work perfectly. Thank you for working with me on it! In the holler is a fairly standard enamel camp cup, and then a “fiesta” brand mug. Both fit fine And will be leaps and bounds better than sitting them on the center console.

Also to get a more snug fit for my particular bottle, I ran a long strip of felt furniture padding around the rim. She’s perfectly snug!

The mugs fit great! That's awesome. I'll add this as an option on the site for any avid coffee drinkers. Thanks for your business and your photos.

A larger cupholder insert for behind the center console is definitely on the radar, I haven't looked into possible door card attachments but that could be feasible if folks like the insert.

I just received my scangauge in the mail, gonna model up the mount for it sometime this week and hopefully have some options up this weekend for the AHC mounting area for the auxbeam panels, a RAM ball adapter, and the scangauge.

I'll also try and fab up a mount to put the scan gauge in front of the cluster/right behind the wheel at some point as I've seen some folks with that setup and really liked it. Or Maybe one that utilizes the door grab handle?

The AHC mount spot is ideal because it's so easy to hide wiring. The mount will have a nice hidden wire hole running through it to give it a nice tidy look. See below for the auxbeam example:

Still adjusting the tightness of the gap between the mount and AHC panel hole, but rest assured the final product will clip in nice and tight

98-02 shifter trim plates are now available, starting at only $45! Check out the pictures below, the letter inlays in the final version will be a bit bolder than the ones in this prototype, but it is 100% an improvement over the old bubbled, faded, scratched OEM part in my 1998.

These will start shipping out in 1 week but can be ordered now!
Free shipping on orders over $80, flat rate shipping of $5 per order for all orders!

Thank you all for the support and for putting up with all my spam!!!! Happy Easter!

Trying to install this now. How did you get the OD switch disconnected from the shifter to remove the handle?

Thanks for ordering!

Below is a video of how I do it with the included wago quick-disconnect that came with your shifter trim plate. :

I just snip the two wires, strip them a bit, and lock them into the quick disconnect when I go to reinstall the OD switch, this is much easier than the alternative method which is showcased in

This is much easier than the "proper" way to do it which involves popping two pins out of the OEM connector which is underneath the right side of the shifter. This method is showcased very well in chowcares video here:

tl;dr: Snip the shifters from the OD switch, pull it out and install the trim plate, then use the wago quick-disconnect terminal block that came with your order to splice the wires together. If you have any more issues shoot me a pm or give me a call!

Greetings from TX. I know you have been busy with your new marriage and creating cool new toys, but are you still considering "tweaking" the shift indicator plate for more of an OEM look i.e. smoother and glossier finish than the current production model? Please keep up the great work for our never say die beasts!
