I recently acquired a 76 model LC with maybe the original 4 speed. PO installed a 350 w/Advance Adapters conversion kit. It appears the top shifter housing is missing the opposing "pin" which helps to secure the shifter. Any suggestions on how to repair?
Thanks
Hi everyone (sorry in advance about my English) My first post on 200 section community😃. I have a 2016 LX with 78900 miles. Since I have 80series I could handle everything myself but not this one so I need your advice now.
The LX is park in a closed underground parking near the wall, with...
I need help/advice with my many questions about my FJ40 transmission. I have a 1974 FJ40 4-speed transmission roars (sounds/feels like bearings are gone, comes and goes at speeds over 40 mph) and I had a local transmission guy confirm it needed a rebuild. He said parts were discontinued and he...
Hey All.
So last night i got home about 9pm, parked the cruiser in my driveway, woke up this morning got in, it fired up just as normal. I went to throw it into reverse and i noticed the shifter felt "oddly" fluid. Once in R i hit the gas and nothing. No matter where i mover the shift...
Hi Guys,
I posted yesterday about my 2000 LC transmission possibly taking a dump at 50k miles and someone recommended I ask here...

Thank you in advance...

Hi Guys,
Does anyone know a trustworthy transmission shop in the Trinidad, CO area?
I'm on a road trip and my LC decided to s*** the bed... I was going uphill on the highway at ~70mph and ~4k RPM when she suddenly lost power to the wheels, redlined to about 5.5k, and started making a weird...
For sale is an 02 Lexus LX470 transmission with torque converter included. Part has 130k miles on it and is in excellent working condition. Part is located in Northeast Pennsylvania right outside Scranton. $900 AND IT'S YOURS. Will ship but you pay freight.
Nice condition. Black Rubber, not leather, you will reuse your existing wiring wit overdrive button to save yourself from a massive amount of unnecessary work. . Small crack at bottom where it cant be seen.
I have a A442F that was acting up before pulled. I have not taken it apart, no interest in getting involved with an auto trans at this point.
It might be useful to someone looking for a rebuildable core or parts. I hate to see it go to waste.
Bellhousing not pictured but included.
Price 100...
The old girl got an extra pedal and I've got the old A440 and HF2A from 92 FJ80 for sale. 220K when removed in May. Not many miles since, unless you count scurrying around the shop floor. They both ran nicely together with the 3FE until the 5spd swap was done. It'd be a shame to toss such a nice...
hey all. Trying to sell my a440(trans only) out of my 91’ fj80. 200k Miles. No torque converter. $300. Located in Indiana. Willing to meet within reason. Or can deliver for extra $$$.
One of the sweetest running engines I have ever seen. No overheating problems, and good oil pressure.
Engine is still in the car so you can test it yourself. Car is fully driveable. Miles on the car show 250K, however an old engine does not purr like this one. 1997 engine can be used in...
I had the trans and t-case rebuilt on my 5/1977 FJ40. Upon reassemble I am finding that the transfer case shift lever does not clear the shift guide bracket when attempting to put it in neutral and L4. I can disconnect the shaft from the linkage and manually move the t-case through all...
I have a 4-speed transmission and transfer case out of a 1978 FJ40 up for sale. No problems when it was removed. It’s is missing a few external bolts but is complete other than that. Looking to get $450 plus shipping, but if you live anywhere between Charleston, SC and Las Vegas, we can meet as...
