Pretty cool this form has been up and running now for a year. During that time our club’s membership has grown and we have had quite a few organized trail runs. We have also been referenced by name in a two published magazines (Toyota Trails & 4WD Toyota Owner). I would like to say it a been great year wheeling with all you, I look forward to many more. Enjoy the Trails.

Thanks to all you guys for your patience as I learn this sport. And more importantly learn my rig. My goal for the next year is to become a   wrench.

Wonderful news Tare! Fun reading that we've been around a year. Better that we've been referred to in a positive way in the articles regarding trail adoption!

4" stickers are still available to proudly proclaim that you are associated with the SoCal80s!

That is awesome! As a charter member I take great pride in this 1st Anniversary, and second the motion to have an official event. It would be a great opportunity to meet some more of the "regulars" here on the 80's forum.

Agree, agree. I can't believe it has been a year already. I love the group and atmosphere we have created. I would dig having another SoCal 80's run, it has been too long. I look forward to wheeling with some of you again and for the first time.

been a great year!

You know that's going to require more than just buying a second wrench:flipoff2: Seriousy though, it's been great meeting and wheeling with those of you that I have and I look forward to the same with those of you that I haven't.

Wow late coming to the parade as always.

Love this place - its really a home for an 80s owner - well thats my experience. :)

Need to move down south to get closer to the action though :D .

and all this time I thought this stood for that....:flipoff2:

or does it mean 2 years old?

congrats all.
thanks for starting it up!

we should all meet for a grill fest at a beach park soon.

Congrads Guys

X2 for an offical event.
I would be happy to represent all the newbs that cant make it. ;)

I'll host an official event.

Who's up for Mexico?! :D

Specifically, Guadalupe Canyon sometime in October?

If there is interest, I will work on logistics.

Maybe stickers or shirts?

Let me know what you think!

Absolutely - so long as it's not the first week of the month (hazards of the profession - accounting). We don't have our scout calendar set that far out yet, but I know we do a canoe trip every September. October is usually just a local camping trip/bike ride.

Any participants should plan far enough in advance to make sure passports are in order.

The first three weeks in Oct work for me too. And driving the last 25 miles of the Baja 250 I saw a bunch of killer locations just North of Erendira right on the water with no one for miles. Erendera is the next town south of Ensenada. Also about 10 miles north or Erendira there is a killer hill climb that will make you pucker up....
