Hey guys, just rebirthing this thread as I have some slow flashing indicators (turn signals) and hazards. They flash close to normal when the engine is revving higher but at idle they're far too slow. And they're getting slower...
I'm assuming a new relay will fix the issue but does anyone know...

Brisveganbj42: it’s a lot more fiddly and time consuming than I was expecting. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have a whole weekend with nothing better to do.
Good tip! I just did a little bench test and that does minimise the shavings.
Interestingly, most of the chips were coming out of the drill side of the metal, and not from what would would be the inside of the body panel.
Going slow and adding more grease made the chips on the otherside...
So to install a central locking kit, I need to drill through the a and b-pillars of the car to run the cabling. The body work of the car is double skinned in this area.
My concern is that when I drill the holes, the metal shavings will fall inside the body cavity and can’t be cleaned up. This...
Superb, thank you very much! I remember reading somewhere that the pre 1975 regulators had different mounting points. I don't know if this is correct or not. Perhaps it's not according to the SOR illustration.
Looking for a complete tailgate window regulator, motor, key barrel/switch and safety switch with harnesses.
Needs to have come from a 1975 or newer FJ55.

A question for anyone who has installed an H55F 5 speed transmission into their FJ55... Did you use a crossmember from a 60 series? If so, how did you make it fit?

Thanks guys, it is indeed a 24mm socket. I checked the levels and a tiny bit of oil weeped out of the filler plug. I stuck my finger into the stench and sure enough it was filled to the top.
