    My TLC experience

I think the last windshield I got was from Toyota.. it wasn’t very expensive. Not sure on a .dxf file but the side windows can be removed pretty easily and a glass company should be able to measure and cut. FWIW I have a factory diesel (3B) and have no complaints. I have never driven a gas...

Intro Thread for a project BJ42, based in Ontario Canada.

I picked a parts 42 up for that and it basically disintegrated when I towed it home. I searched for 5 years to get a cheap parts rig. FYI my driver BJ42 sat for over 5 years when I bought it. There were no diesel mechanics in Yellowknife who wanted to touch it so the PO let it sit because it...

    Sunny the 1979

I installed the CCOT level block a few years ago, it made a difference but still not perfect, still off 1/2". I didn't necessarily care about it but when I moved provinces it was a requirement to get a road safety. The block put it within tolerance. I can't remember but I think I had to...

I'm pretty sure we've have that exact same conversation before. Maybe you'll remember the next time before you ask me.

Fj40 power steering heat shield and brackets

I think my shipping quote to Texas was $30 alone and I checked out a few in the classifieds that had a listed price close to $200. Somewhere between those 2 values I'm sure there is an mutually acceptable price. PM me if you want to discuss further.

    Windshield Replacement

That Made in Japan sticker is on my driver side door window. I assume it was on there from the factory. I bought a Toyota windshield and re-used my gasket when I replaced mine.

    Whats this?

I agree 100%. The times I used it I was on a highway in Northern Canada that is long and straight and you might only see a vehicle once an hour or so. I don't know what it is about the accelerator position on the 40 series but it hurts my knee after 5+ hours of driving at the same speed. I...

    Whats this?

I am pretty sure in my owners manual it recommends using it for cold starts although it makes sense for winching as well. I tried using it for cruise control a bunch of times on long trips and always found it was either too slow or too fast and doesn't really allow you to speed up before...

Best price on factory 15” steel wheels?

The wheels are cheaper in Canada but the caps are cheaper in the US. I had to mix and match to get the best value.

Hey Sorry I have been out camping lots. I will take it to the post office to get a price on shipping. I'll try to get there soon and then DM you.

I'm not really sure what they are worth. Would you need the brackets too? They are still on the box. Shipping from Canada might be a killer.

Fj40 power steering heat shield and brackets

I'd probably sell it. I don't have a need for it.

Which heat shield is this? I pulled it off a power steering box because my 3B didn't need it.

    Power steering to BJ42

I bought the used parts from 4wheelauto In Edmonton but was just lucky they had it in stock. I think the hardest parts to find are the cooler lines, tensioner and the reservoir bracket since they are 3b specific. I think I had to get a different alternator bracket as well. The power steering...
