I’ve been trying to figure this out too. My understanding was that the truck used the hybrid battery to start and the 12v battery ran the lights and other stuff… this got me thinking that you could just hook up your accessory panel to the 12v to run a fridge or extra lights.
If you want to lift it, lift it… even if it is just for looks. Who cares what some bozos on a forum think. Spacer lifts are pretty cheap and tons of guys run them. They’re easy to install so any off road shop should be able to it. Throw on some AT tires and some 17s and you’ll have a pretty nice...
Production not take… sorry. I will say though that I ended up with the MT because it had been sitting on the lot for over month. Dealer was trying to move it and no one wanted it. It’s a Pro too and this was back in 2017 when there was all kinds of hype.
Could always just buy a prado badge and put on… the grill too if you really want to go all out. I’m sure they’ll be floating around out there on eBay after a bit.
Mine drops from H2 at 40 mph and H1 at 65 mph.
If you don’t need a beefed up suspension for extra weight, then AHC is the way to go. With the sensor lift mod, H2 gives you 4” over a standard non AHC 300.
