Can anyone give any insight as to correct adjustment of the tps? I'm in a hotel right now over a thousand miles from home with my wife and kids because my 93 1hdt with a442f is shifting all over the place. Replaced all solenoids about 7 months ago
Reviving this thread as I'm over a thousand miles from home with the family on vacation and mine is doing this bad. We are in a hotel room as I type because I didn't want to continue. Was it the TPS?
So I've recently fiddled with the fueling on my 1hdt. Power is better, little puff of black smoke on startup and under load. Egt's are still good.
Followed LCOOL mod by turning star wheel in injection pump three clicks, top screw half turn in, and main fuel screw in approx a quarter turn...
Correct. That's what I'm worried about. Solenoid #3 (1 and 2 are the same) is also a one bolt bracket. They all are. 3 and 4 share the same bolt but only one, not two bolts
I figured it out. On the 1hdt the ac pulley on the crankcase is the #2 pulley and is a single groove. The main crankcase pulley that runs the 2 belts for the alt and water pump is the 13408-17010 part number. The one I need is the 13407-17010 part number. Got it ordered last night! Thanks guys
So I'm going to need to do this asap. Was wondering if the correct AC crankshaft pulley has two grooves for two belts or just the one for AC.That part number (13408-17010) pulls up a pulley with 2 grooves on Ebay but it appears the one Tweeek used in pics is a 6 bolt single grooved pulley. Or...
Just wanted to add my 2 cents. Just did swivel hub rebuild because it was leaking. First time I drove it, noticed it was still leaking. Drove it for 2 days. Buddy of mine thought maybe breather tube might be clogged and sure enough, it was. Cleaned it thoroughly and leak stopped immediately...
I used my front ones one time to pull a stuck vehicle out of the snow and one of the "recovery" points completely folded. I wouldn't suggest using these myself
@IanB Iknow this was 6 years ago but wanted to touch base with you. I'm having this exact same problem with my 1hdt. You still stand behind this? I've used seafoam once and it worked a treat on my gasser. About to order a new filter as I've never changed it out since I've had my hdj81.
