Yes I ordered some thicker ones and he ground them to the size I needed, minimized how many I had to order.

No there is nothing there and nothing depicted in the parts diagram. there is a gasket with the bolt pattern shape on it, part number 47275-24010, but it was not included in the kit, and mine is still stuck on the brake booster, so I'll just re-use it.

No you will get a CEL if you just unplug/remove it. A fairly simple resistor mod or a more elegant relay/resistor mod is required if you want it to be gone with no CEL.

Looks to me like you will need a new EGR valve as well, it shouldn't be porting that much heat back into the modulator.
