Does anyone know where to find a steering box for an 80 series? I'm trying to upgrade my 60. I've scoured the net trying to find one. The only 2 I found are from RockAuto ($540 w/ core) and some scam from cruiser parts.net. Thanks in advance.

@Dieseler I've got an 87 60, and a rear passenger door skin and left quarter to cut/repair. I've worked with 18g many times, but have not measured the thickness of the 60's steel. From the sounds of it, you've done some repair on your rigs, are you sure that 18g steel is the closest fit for a 60/62?

Sounds good! What's the exact measurement of the center bore of the spacer? I picked a local set up today -- ended up they were 1/16" off ( and machining them out is not an option), needles to say I had to return them. Depending on your measurement, I can zelle you the payment directly.

The wheel I just picked up, are 16x10 -- so I'm curious if 2" will do the trick. Can you snap a pic and pm me or attach here in the thread?

Are these spacers still available? I've got 6 - 5.5" lug on my 60. Just put new American Racing wheels on today and the inner wheel rubs the outer tie rod. Looking to remedy this asap. Thx

Funny you mention that because my battery charger light is on now, even though the battery isn't very old, so it's obviously not getting the 12v it wants from the alternator. Also, now the motor wants to crap out in 2nd gear unless I gas the hell out of it. Any thoughts or advice?
