My question is, how is this done at the dealer? I have never seen a service manual/software from Lexus (like I did for the BMWs) and I expect there would be step-by-step instructions there where this is shown without cutting anything. If anyone knows how this is actually done at the dealer, I...
Yeah just found it in the manual. That said, will 265/75R16 fit without issues? If so I may go with that as it seems there are way more tires available in that size.
Thanks a lot!

Ladies/Gents,
I am currently using 18" Momo wheels (that I do like) but got a whole set of Lexus 16" original wheels and given the current weather up here in the Cold North, running Winter tires is always a good idea on my book. With that in mind I want to get winter tires for the OEM 16"...
Agreed. Makes no sense to list it here. This car, given the current market insanity, will probably smash all BaT records for LCs/LXs. I think one there was sold for 61K and this car has way less mileage so I would not be surprised to see this fetch $80K there.

I will check tomorrow if I can see anything, based on what you explained here. All new to me so I may not be looking at the exact place but will take pictures.
Thanks a lot!

Guys reading all this, I got my truck back in January and it is damn perfect, with no rust anywhere. That said, the car just had the windshield replaced right before I bought it. It was done probably end of November, like 2 weeks before I got it. Is there an easy way to check if this was done...
That engine someone posted off eBay for $3K looks like the way to go in case you do need a valve job. You will be able to reuse a lot of stuff from your current engine and do a full service (TB/WP/etc) before it goes in. I saw that you posted the car for sale but give it a chance! Even in that...
I had a similar situation on my E38 BMW couple years ago. For whatever reason, still not known as I did not have the time to tear the engine apart, I had a coolant leak (minimal) that we tried everything to find where it was coming from. After checking it all it got down to either head gaskets...
It seems it is indeed dead unfortunately. That said based on what you described about the overall condition of the car, if it was my car I would get a used engine. Worst case, given the insane prices for the Land Cruisers right now you can sell it easily and recoup what you may need to invest on...
Depends on price. I got a 2002 LX 470 with 232k miles and every single maintenance record since car had 3 miles. No rust, everything works. Paid USD 9500 in December.
The space you see on the picture is where the Lexus has the hydraulic suspension tank what the Land Cruiser in certain years...
Not mine but as it is an Arizona vehicle as it seems, it must be clean from rust. I would check it out ASAP if I were looking for one.
Not perfect it seems but seems like a great start and given the current insane prices this seems like a good deal possibly...
