Yeah, I guess I should have clarified that I was flushing with distilled water and had a funnel attached to the radiator.

That block drain is a real treat to get to when the exhaust is hot, by the way. Unless I was just doing it wrong...

Got my kit today. Are all 4 lights the same? I was trying to figure out if the lows and highs are different, but they all look the same. Just wanted to make sure before I put them in in the wrong order.

Check the actual shifter linkage that your shifter handle attaches to. There are two rubber isolators and bushings on either end that wear out, allowing the forward/backward slop. Adjust your shifter position when you replace them per the FSM.
