Get another opinion from a shop that does undercarriage work. Auto repair shops see different than a frame restoration shop trust me lol

Woolwax is the way to go , thicker last longer .

Hi, hopefully you find a good autobody shop that does that type of work. My business and a few other shops do only undercarriage and we been looking for an autobody shop that we can refer that work to. Best of luck

From them pics, No have it cleaned up and have it coated with a lanolin product like Woolwax and soak the inside of the frames and crossmembers

I agree, and each service department is different, we get brand new trucks referred from the dealer at our shop

We always tell customers to do all undercarriage work first before they bring it in for undercoating

It looks as it should for where it has been living. And a car fax most likely will not show you any information on the frame unless work was done on it by Toyota. The first 2 areas where the rust starts usually is between the Transmission cross member and front suspension usually starts bulging...

Not at all, clean that rust and woolwax it and you will be good as long as there’s no suprises
