I agree. If were to do it again i would just let it run till it was all pumped out and refill with new. I have already dropped the pan and replaced the mesh filter. although it really didn't need to be replaced.
I've a few videos on youtube showing how i set up my system using the factory amp at first. then i decided to go with an all new setup with new amp under passenger seat using the existing mounts. Hope this helps some people.

HEAVYMETAL is right. you can re-use the washers from the hydraulic shocks. I wish I knew that before doing the conversion. lol. I really wanted to go with the OEM shocks, not just because it's cheaper but i heard it is more comfortable as well. The Bilsteins are pretty firm
yea mine are hanging as well. I guess you could seal them up with some electrical tape to protect them. I'm not planing on ever switching back to AHC so im probably going to just cut the connectors off and leave it alone.
The retaining washers I am referring to are the ones that sandwich the bushings/cushions on the top and bottom of each shock's upper mount. Mine were ruined after i cut the shock off and were rusted but if yours are in good shape then you can re-use them. Yes they are the same part as the land...
