I purchased a new OEM fuel pump for my Prado. Inside the inlet port they are different... new one looks 'ported', old one looks free flowing. Anyone have any insight to this? (Part # is the same) Thank you.

@Trail Teq Do you know if this system will work with the ones that have dealer(JDM) installed keyless entry??

I had a similar issue with the driver door power lock... it was also a damaged wire through the door hinge area. Had to replace/splice that section of wire. Good 2 Go now!

I too hate blinding others...and was able to find a pair of aftermarket LHD version head lights for my JDM '97 Prado. They are made by Depo and are made for pre 2000 models so they are glass front, not the plastic that will haze up👍. Although I have yet to install them. 🤦‍♂️

I finaly got these installed 4xinovations sliders installed. I modded them to be bolt on. Im working on getting them coated with rattle can bed liner ASAP... at least primer. (they are starting to get surface rust)

I was going to try to use a I4 or V6 4runner airbox but they wount fit. The spot welded batt tray is in the way, plus I have ABS so not much room for moving my fuse box .

I'm am also in the process (slow) of relocating the intake to the other side...and open it up for less restricted flow. I have already moved the battery over and in the early stages of designing an airbox to fit in it's old spot.

The transmission tee added to the hard line fit perfectly. Just had to do light sandpaper to clean up grime and ensure flush engagement with the sleeve. For oil pressure I used a 1/8 British oil pressure adapter that has 1/8 npt on the side. Installed in oem oil pressure sensor location. Oem...

I have also installed the 14in1. Best option for transmission temp is a Glowshift 3/8 transmission temp sensor t-fitting, pipecut 1.5" from end of the hardline from the transmission and add it there. For water temp, radiator lines are not reliable because flow through the rad is intermittent...

Not yet, ...life getting in the way.🤣 Hopefully very soon.

I have a '97 and I use 15w40 Diesel oil from Costco & OEM filters from Toyota dealer... I live in Florida.
