Hey everyone, Im new to the forum but have owned my 94 landcruiser for a while now and have just started running into what seems like a switch issue for my driver side window? The thing is I can still run all the other windows just fine from the master switch. The only one that doesn’t run all the time is my driver window. I replaced the switch assembly, the regulator, cleaned the contacts and have power to all required pins but still nothing. Once in a blue moon the switch will work but I can’t figure out why? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes I recently replaced the motor and also tested it again when the window was acting up. Runs as it should, Im wondering if there is possibly a damaged wire further up the door harness causing the issue. Will be able to tear into it tomorrow, are there any common rubbing spots for 80 series cruisers?

This is the 90 Series section. You may want to post this in the 80 Series section as they may be more familiar with this issue.

I had a similar problem which was the just that the wiring running into the doors had gotten damaged from the door opening and closing. That was the drivers door to because that's the one being opened the most. I replaced the wiring running through the hinge area.
