SOR has a oem style kit if that suits your fancy. I wired mine with the provided wires and switch.

What i did is take some rubber from like the universal fender flares and just cut it to size. Worked well enough for me, and was better than whatever rubber was left. this stuff.

Gave it a good pressure washing and . Decided to pamper the 40 and didn’t end up washing the truck that hasn't gotten washed in over a year… Maybe its because the 40 gives me less issues…
