Yeah, however, the oscilloscope data showed no repetition, and the tech told me the easiest thing would be to replace all 8 packs, but that's also 1k+ in parts alone, and there's no guarantee, as this is super intermittent.

No misfires. Had one weird O2 Sensor bank 1 code. But the coil packs got moved, and there was no change in the codes, then moved again, and the codes changed. Really confusing stuff, man. No rhyme or reason, no patterns.

    Electrical Gremlins with P035x codes

All 8 cylinders/coils, at different times, usually threw 4 codes at a time.

Just posted in 100 series tech, but remembered the AZ club. lol 2004 LC, bought a couple of months ago, has recently been having intermittent issues with ignition coil codes thrown. An independent shop told me they believed it was an ECM or PCM issue due to the lack of pattern in oscilloscope...

    Electrical Gremlins with P035x codes

I'll keep it direct. 2004 LC, bought a couple of months ago, has recently been having intermittent issues with ignition coil codes thrown. An independent shop told me they believed it was an ECM or PCM issue due to the lack of pattern in oscilloscope data and no other issues found. Toyota tech...

    Whirring noise diagnosing

Recently replaced my rad, fan clutch, and some other misc. cooling items, truck runs great, but I've started to get a pulsating whirring noise. Most notable at idle and doesn't change when the truck is warmed up. It does get more consistent at higher rpms (Side note, I wish I could manipulate my...

    2006 LC Failing Fan Clutch?

What is still spinning after you turn off the truck? The belt shouldn't spin if off, but if the clutch is bad, it could. Just ordered one to replace mine, freak accident stripped housings, and the fan fell off the clutch, which was not OEM. If it is the clutch definitely go with the OEM one...

Genuinely do not understand how this happened. (Fan and Fan Clutch)

Yep. Lulled myself after it went on and was not coming off with force or after driving for a week. Definitely an expensive lesson, and completely stupid decison but a bunch of cooling system parts are original at 227k, and this was a good push for me to baseline it.

The top nut/washer combo shouldn't be there, the fan should sit flush to the clutch (as @2001LC mentioned), and the bottom bolt should secure the fan to the clutch.

Genuinely do not understand how this happened. (Fan and Fan Clutch)

Just placed an order from Olathe, doing a bunch of stuff while I'm in there. After pulling out the clutch today Ive found that all four housings for the bolts are completely stripped. The clutch itself looks to be original but has no Aisin branding, dont know if Toyota OEs looked like this or if...

Yep, all tight, was flush when put back on by myself. Drove one more time this week and checked often. Unfortunately, it backed itself out again and is causing a minor leak to the radiator. Probably stripped, but they all seem to seat and sit flush. EDIT: Here are some photos after I put it...
