Yes I would never buy an older car like that without having a PPI done.I'm in Texas. My brother bought a very similar truck out of Boston. Low miles and stunning looking.
He did not have a PPI done.
When the truck arrived it looked brand new, until we crawled under it. The frame was so rusted out that he couldn't sell it. Even the Toyota dealer wouldn't buy it at any price. He finally sold it for pennies on the dollar to a guy who took it, with some other cars, to Mexico.
BUYER BEWARE on eastern cars!!!

We’re back into NorCal from Baja, but still digging through the pics. This was a true desert oasis with both swimming holes and hot springs.

We had two weeks, wife and my 12 and 14 year old boys. That wasn’t enough time to go all the way to Cabo and still have time to enjoy places along the way. Everyone I talked to said absolutely no driving at night due to cows in the road and other potential troubles. Shortest days of the year really limited long road days. The roads have no shoulder, so it’s pretty tight going past trucks or other large vehicles. Furthest south we made it was Loreto on the Sea of Cortez and San Juanico (Scorpion Bay) on the Pacific. So sick! You guys go the full length? Good surf?
