Headed home. Until next time, Mountains.

Also, saw someone’s beautiful new-to-them (still had paper tags with a February 2026 date) LX 470 in smoky topaz on the streets of CB last night.

Finally got there

In 1988, just out of High School, I took a trip to Durango with my family for a friend's daughter's wedding. It was the first time I had ever been to Durango and I attribute that trip with creating my desire to move here.

My 100 (Penny) flipped to 300K on the odo directly out front of the Church the wedding was held in. Wild.

those steelies look great... 255/85s?

A 2,300 mile trip from the Willamette Valley to southern California. Stops in Yosemite, Sequoia, Disneyland for the kids, and back up the easter Sierra into central Oregon. Lots of stops for gas but otherwise the truck ran great. Got home with 309k on the odometer. I've never owned a vehicle that I have enjoyed more than this one.

Finally made it to Baja! This is on a trans peninsular route from Loreto to Scorpion Bay.
The Cruiser is doing great towing this modified Sears farm trailer. She was buzzing from the evap box and we smelled a sweet odor (not coolant). It only lasted a few minutes and was fine the next day. Any ideas?
