Considered this when doing my dual setup but opted to just get a good Noco.

Anyone have a US source for these struts? Lee Valley that won’t ship to the US and I can’t find anything that looks as nice as these. Amazon ones look pretty cheap.

I can still feel the air pulling through the covers. Maybe not as much as before, but still somewhat functional.

Yup, I don’t remove them completely but I unbolted and tipped the seat front to back. That helped, but I have big hands and feel like I have 40 paper cuts from reaching in and out to get them over those bars. The covers looked taught until I sat in each of them. I will snug them all up...

That matters as well. I took them all off when I had my diff and tcase drained and filled. When I don’t do my own oil change I just remove the service covers before I drop it off.

I do, since I don’t trust the tech to lube and torque each screw. Takes 15 minutes to take them off and 30 to put them back on. Also gives me a chance to inspect and grease joints as needed.
