Gotta be honest here, if you don’t wheel, there is no reason not to get a sequoia. It costs considerably less, is much more functional (second and third row are much larger), and is just as reliable. My only knock on the 2010 platinum I owned is that it didn’t come with push button start...

I agree with this, I’ve owned 100/200/gx and sequoia….and for 90% of owners, the choice should be sequoia. It’s an extremely practical rig that just doesn’t have near the cool factor as an LC. Great engine, reliable, better third row and more cargo space. Also still slaughters forest service...

There are many options with bunks in smaller, light trailers. Our kids have slept in the dinette and in the bunks. Dinettes usually flip in minutes. Some have bunks, dinette and Murphy/couch up front under 5k lb dry.

‘09 LX 88k miles, stock, 285/50/20 g015’s, can’t get over 16 mpg on flat highway in Oregon at 73mph. Get 9-11 towing our 4K lb loaded trailer. Always have run 92 octane. My 100 lx dropped 3mpg running 87 and had noticeable power loss, so have always deferred to 92.

Just bought 2009, 2 owner, 100% dealer serviced, ca/or car, 87k for $30k. Just chrome delete in army green for now. New geolanders came with it, likely go 18”/34’s when they wear. Mostly a tower/ski third rig. Occasional fs roads/adventuring.
