Morimoto H1 2Stroke 4.0 LED Bulbs in stock LX470 projector

@cambo16 Same here. I currently have LasFit Leds in stock projectors, and it is much better than stock (low bar to beat) but the color temp is around 6k and sometimes feels a little too blue for my liking. Whereas these morimotos are in the 5k range which I personally prefer. And, if I add Baja...

Solved - Persistent Transmission OD/4th Gear Issue

While a pain in the butt to get here, I am glad that it took me through a "transmission journey" and learned much more about the car along the way. Having techstream and an OBD2 reader module was essential in pin pointing issue. I used techstream to verify wheel speed sensor reading (which...

    Newbie question

The one on the left is not "real". It's a body kit that mimics the look of a 60 series. And the one of the left costs serious money to look that way. Want a 100 Series Land Cruiser With An FJ60 Face? - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/want-a-100-series-land-cruiser-with-an-fj60-face.1262134/

Solved - Persistent Transmission OD/4th Gear Issue

Hi All, I have had a persistent issue for the last year with the transmission in my 2000 LX470 losing 4th gear/OD while driving. Initially, I went through the most common fixes: checking/replacing the transmission sensors, wheel speed (ABS) sensors, checking coolant temp sensor, and doing a...

@vanosmaster What does "L4 switch" mean in this context? The solenoid?

    Transmission wont shift into 4th/overdrive

You may want to check at the connection point and inspect wires up to connecting point and check/measure resistance. Not sure if you have tech stream, but (with a friend) you could run tech stream while driving and check to see if sensors are all reading properly as well as check the sensors on...

    Transmission wont shift into 4th/overdrive

Have you checked your wheel speed sensors? This happened to me, except I did not get a CEL or any other light. One of the wheel speed sensors was barely hanging on by 1 strand of wire

Morimoto H1 2Stroke 4.0 LED Bulbs in stock LX470 projector

@JBerger I have seen the retrofits and they do look amazing! The retrofit is too intimidating for my skill level. Just seeing what I can do to make the most of the stock setup. With your retrofit, could you have chosen LED instead of HID? Curious.

Morimoto H1 2Stroke 4.0 LED Bulbs in stock LX470 projector

Has anyone installed the Morimoto H1 2Stroke 4.0 LED Bulbs in the lx470? Looking for thoughts and experience. I am considering it. I have lasfit led lights with the extended weather caps. Would I need to switch to the rubber extension caps or would mine work? I would probably also get the...

Who wants upgraded AHC torsion bars?

I have a bone stock lx470 with original T bars and vehicle has 340k miles. All of my AHC pressures are in good spec, but I had to crank adjustment bolts all the way. So I think these bars are probably fatigued and there is no room for further adjustment. If I were to get the AHC+ T-bars (32%...
