Radiator fixed it! The PO didn’t use an OEM, looked ok but clearly wasn’t. Tech said it was really light compared to other replacements and OEM. Hopefully done for a while so I can just enjoy it on the trails.

So, replacing replacing the last of the cooling parts, radiator, and hopefully that fixes everything. Everything but that (looked relatively new) was replaced during the rebaseline at ACC Garage. They swapped in a new thermostat (again), but was still running hot, so, last thing is the radiator...

Regular driving… though 70-75mph with 35” tires. Not that it should matter being full time 4wd normally… but do have hub locks for part time and did forget to unlock them. But again, other than the speed, was normal flat highway.

I didn’t then, main gauge still show middle of the range… and didn’t realize how bad it would be for engine. Won’t do that again. At home in driveway was reading more about it and turned the heater on and that dropped it from 217 at idle down to 200-205. Inspected radiator for dirt/mud, look...

had added a Scan Guage 3 a few weeks back, first extended driving today. Realizing we have an overheating problem. :( coolant temp is 180-198 while wheeling in the wooded mountains. Driving home for an hour got up to 223, at that temp AC cuts off. New fan, blue hub, but not modded… relatively...

Thank you. Will see how she does after the refill. No extreme temps in the forecast right now. So, maybe it’ll be okay with just the refill.

suspected leak on mine… dye added and recharged to full. Strange it blows cold most of the time but super hot/humid day after 4-hours of wheeling… and driving back for at high highway speeds, keeping cutting off and would have turn off AC and turn back on and cold again. Temp gauge stayed...

Love Beasley Knob. Been once, did all the trails except for the hardest. Soooo much fun. Didn’t have to winch fortunately, did have to triple lock a couple times though for sure. Was wet, but not overly so. Wish it wasn’t 2-hours away!
