I got the car scanner app and an elm bluetooth adapter. The app connects to my bluetooth but will not work with the car. Tells me no data trying to get trans temp.

I know how it works and when a car with its brights on is behind me it doesn't dim it does the opposite and I have to turn it down so I'm not blinded.

So if a car comes up behind me with its brights on it doesn't dim it is supposed to get brighter? Why have it then?

Wouldn't that do the whole dash and not just this light? That light is the only one that does this. I'll pull the instrument cluster tonight and check.

My cc dash light turns on when the temp outside is between 50 and 60 F. It is off but will come on at random. I have not changed the bulb yet but plan to anybody got an idea?
