This happens to me in the cold weather when I first start up. I've asked my mechanic about it and he hasn't seen any issues with the locker or low range gearbox. If I can remember to go through all the off-road functions 1-2 a month, it helps a ton. I wish we had the manual transfer case shifter.
That's very similar to what I've been able to surmise from the forums. What perch did you set them at? I know i had Bilteins on my Fj Cruiser and I went to a lower perch which helped with the ride stiffness over road imperfections. Also, I have 285/75/17 tires, so it'd be helpful to compare...
Question. I've been on OME nitrochargers 2.5-3" for some time and I'll probably need to replace them pretty soon. My question is whether there is a more comfortable twin-tube kit out there for on-road feels. I don't do any serious off-roading, so I'm not really looking into any special kits...
I haven’t been able to find much on how 200 series owners like the dobinsons base twin tube suspension. I’m currently riding on OME nitro chargers 2.5” and I drive 95% around town/highways. I find them pretty harsh for handling bumps. I was looking at the dobinsons IMS lift as it gets great...
it's more of road-manners thing. A slightly smaller and lighter tire that doesn't end up looking too scrawny with a lift would probably feel a little more nimble on highway and around town, not to mention the minimal bump in mpgs. What size lift do you have?
i'm currently in a 285/75/17 tire and looking to potentially switch into 285/70/17s. I agree, I think the 285/70 would be perfect for my uses (mostly daily driver).
Looking to downsize to 285/70r17, from a 285/75 tire, but I'm worried it might look weird with my 2.5-3" lift. Does anyone have any pictures of a 2.5+ inch lift with 285/70 tires? I'd like to know if the smaller tire will look too scrawny while I look into a smaller lift. thanks!
Does anyone have any tips on how to fix this lose attachment point on the front passenger-side bumper? I’ve already replaced the support bracket piece, but it still doesn’t want to stick.
