Current junk on the road besides the the 200,

06 LR3, the trusty ugly daily beater,
04 Marauder, finally rolled 50k this year,
20 F250, now on 35's, Tremor valance and running boards, still picking up bad decisions.
91 240, co-workers mother bought it new back in 91, 320k and still going strong. She didn't want to see it get scrapped so I bought it

Very nice. I miss my blue IS300. Factory 5sp with LSD car. GTE swap. W55 on borrowed time 😄

Yup. Pretty much wrote the book on the GTE swap. Went through a W55 and W58. Coughed up the doh for the 6-speed Getrag 161. Late gen MKIV Supra vvti driveline in a Lexus suit.

That looks like the garage at cal speedway RIP
One of my many e30s circa 05 or so.

Nailed it. That E30 looks like a fun lightweight ride!

Had a z3 m52 alum block, 3.2 crank and rotating assy, m50 head with m3 cams and intake, OBD1 ecu, ZF e36 m3 5 speed. 270 crank hp in a 2600 lb car. Super fun and the look on pcar drivers faces was priceless.

Imola zhp w/ zcp wheels? Imola was a great color. Had a e46 ZHP six speed and an e38 740i sport individual in Imola. Shoulda kept the e46. great little car.

330Ci ZHP 6-spd, Imola red/black. Full SuperSprint resonated exhaust, Bilstein/Eibach shocks and springs. It’s a sweet little ride. Those pictures were from probably eight years ago. The paint…. Not so great anymore. Clearcoat peeling. Needs a light sanding and a wrap or repaint.

It’s for sale 😜

Last of the normally aspirated! It’s no S54, but the M54/M52 is a pretty sweet motor.

The wheels are VMR 703, basically an M3 replica wheel. I do still have the ZHP wheels, though.

Back in 2008-2009 or so I almost bought an E39 540i with the 6 speed and M62 instead of the E46. Maybe I’ll get back into it when I have more time. I would love to build an E30 with a nice M54. Or an LS. 🧐

Also, is that white car behind the E46 a Prelude? Those were fantastic!

Bought the 80 in Dec of 2000. Before I became part of regal stature, by joining the elite group known only as 200 series owners, the 2 peasant vehicles I had in between were:
2008 Lexus IS250 AWD
2008 GMC Sierra Crew Cab- deleted and tuned Duramax on 37's

New track toy. Just got the super 200's put on and roll bar is being built as we speak. Trying to keep this a "budget build." Which is much easier with a miata compared to some other makes. My first mx5, go slow fast and all that. :steer:

Nice car. How many miles on the ZHP?

As a Yota tech, what's your thoughts wrenching on a German vehicle?

Your all making me miss my last e46. Nothing special, but it was a one owner 330xi 5sp ZSP, was a great daily, and incredible in the snow. Bone stock other than Bilstein B8's all around. Had to sell it when I bought my 200 sadly. Fun at the Glen, and had a good group of friends with e46's.

Oh nice. Miata is always the answer. Love my turbo NC. Pushing 280 rwhp at 2400lbs. Slap some RE-71RZs on it, amazing tire.

I don’t really have any experience with German vehicles other than the E46 and an E39 that a friend had long ago. So keep that in mind….

I will say that I am pretty disappointed with German plastic and rubber parts. But, they do everything else pretty darn well. I guess a lot of the differences are just the way things are done. For instance— while Toyota use a very limited number of fastener head sizes and types, the Germans seem to be hell-bent on using as many head sizes and fastener types as possible.

Since the BMW is a 2005, it is a fairly simple vehicle relative to pretty much anything sold today, and it’s usually straightforward to work on aside from sometimes needing a special tool for one thing or another. And my limited experience with the Supra has taught me that the times have definitely changed. I don’t think I’d own another German car out of warranty. One of my best buds has a tuned 2018 Audi S8 with over 90K miles, so I’m just waiting on “The Phone Call.”
