A couple of things needed to be taken care of. One is the shifter on my 62 had gotten pretty sloppy. So had to replace the bushings. After getting it all back together I could not get it to shift into park correctly. Fyi dont turn that knob at the top of the shifter pole. That was the issue...

I haven't delt with this yet. The wiper on the passenger side is the issue. The drivers side works fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for mentioning grounding for aluminum radiators. I just purchased one and was not aware of the grounding issue. Did a little research and see that there may be some electrolysis build up that will break down the aluminum.

Does anyone know if a fj70 series wiper linkage fit a FJ62? I thought i had read somewhere that on this site that it would work. They do look the same from these 2 pictures. FJ70 series wiper linkage FJ60 series wiper linkage.

Where did you order your wiper linkage from? I am in very bad need of the same.

Its been a few years since i have been there. We went therer from Kansas City to look at some colleges for my son. Who has now graduated a couple of years ago. Back to the LC in the store. At the time I thought that this was one of the coolest trucks i had ever seen.

Mine is not as nice as yours. Of course there are lots of upgrades I would like to do. Leaks all over. But it runs good. So have that going for me. lol Sorry to hear about your battery issue thats a hard one to track down.

I first fell in love with the 60 Series when I saw this Land Cruiser at the REI store in Seatle. So glad to have one of my own now.
