Drove it a bunch today. Took it to a car show in Petaluma (~45 minute drive each way), then my daughters wanted to go up to the Bolinas Ridge to catch the sunset (~1 hour drive each way). It did great, the Cruiser Gods were smiling on me and my carburetor today

I had a little upper rocker damage last GSMTR so was looking for a better way to protect that area.

I added a bit of material to Dave’s already great 4X Plus steps to give higher protection and had them painted body color. It seemed like a better idea than repairing the spot just to see if happen again.

Hey Nate:
Do you have part numbers for the OEM fasteners/hardware that you used for your receiver hitch mounting? Thanks.

Any 60 owners will notice this is the rear bumper hardware.

91619-61240 - qty 4
90179-12010 - qty 4
94612-11200 - qty 4

Much appreciated.
Two marks on the screw from what I can tell.
Class 6T the way I read it.
They don't even sell anything that low of a class at the hardware store, or McMaster-Carr. There were JIS flat-head, but nothing that could conventionally be torqued to spec. Hardware is fascinating; part numbers are going to keep it elusive. I just checked an offering for parts online; yep, it seems elusive. The ones on my rear engine mounts were stamped 5, and they took a serious beating.

WHYD to your Cruiser this week?
A couple of things needed to be taken care of. One is the shifter on my 62 had gotten pretty sloppy. So had to replace the bushings. After getting it all back together I could not get it to shift into park correctly. Fyi dont turn that knob at the top of the shifter pole. That was the issue.
Two. My back window would not roll up. It would roll down but not up. That issue was the little rocker arms in the main switch on the drivers door had gotten corroded. After cleaning those up the issue was resolved. That one was very tedious work.
