Cedar Butte so not too far out. Was tempted to go up to Triangulation Point but we‘re still getting used to solo travel so maybe next time :) Here’s the track we did. GaiaGPS - Track (8/3/19, 3:40:25PM)
I had the same experience as @neilsen100. Running AHC with 100 springs. The 100 springs are too much unless you’re running a lot of weight in the rear.
Here you go. I just trimmed the light housing and drilled some holes. The arb side is completely unmodifed and there’s no glue should I ever decide to change lights in the future. It looks like that glue method allows them to sit more flush however.
I used a set of RCA to speaker wire plugs so the speakers should be well grounded. There’s no interference when the HU is booted, only when it’s booting up. My next step is to bypass the amp. Seems like some folks can get by without that step but not me!
Bringing this thread back up. I just installed a Pioneer AVH-1300NEX using RCA preamp outs with the stock amp and speakers. When I turn on the vehicle, while the unit says it's loading/booting up, I'm getting low level static from the speakers. This goes away as soon as the unit is done booting...
@PADDO thanks for the response, you’ve given me a good direction to getting things sorted.
I upgraded the bars because I installed an Arb bumper, winch and sliders. In order to get to neutral pressures I had the stock bars cranked up and the ride was pretty crashy.
I also have LC rear springs...
I can confirm 5 gallons as well. I had the low fuel light come on at 4am in the middle of Oregon while transporting the family. We can't pump our own gas here so even though I found a few gas stations I couldn't buy gas! Once I finally found an open station my fill up was "only" 21.293 gallons.
