I don’t know what it weighed, but used my 80 to tow a loaded 6 horse trailer through a wash for a family that got stuck using in an f250. What you outlined in this post, I think is doable depending on the tongue weight. I would not do that on a public road, highway or interstate.

I drove the new 4runner 4 cyl turbo non hybrid. It was worse than the outgoing 4.0 v6. I sold my 5th gen 4 runner after 6 months, hated it.
