My car is probably similar - 99 - no rust - paint mostly good but clear coat gone in places - keen to address it. I am assuming that clear coat can be repaired without repainting. If so what is typical cost of fixing the clear coat ? Thx

turned out to be a leaking connection (O ring) - all fixed......

top of Hoosier pass with camper - no issues - temperature stayed within range - however subsequently filled up the air bags from 10 to 25 psi as was looking a bit heavy in the a$$ - better now..... camping this weekend hopefully....

Guys - thx so much for this (especially you Pablo - what a picture) - got the panel off and direct access to 'the wire' - holding off to the morning to get appropriate connectors - wire is extremely fragile. This afternoon I was at the end of my rope..... now optimistic about tomorrow..... Jim

Hi All - Am currently putting an electronic brake controller onto my vehicle (2000 LC 100) have got it all taken care of apart from the last wire - it is the wire that runs from the ECB to the 'cold' side of the brake light switch. I cannot find the wire that is at the 'cold' side of the brake...

Nah dont think so - I assume you mean the bellows? I think leak is from a bad connection (I assume) - however cant get at it as the protection plate is in place and the bolts have been rounded - since original post I have established that the leak is manageable (can keep it topped up) so car is...

yep - right idea definitely - but dont think a 2 hour tow is fair - so I'll go with the top up plan and take it from there...... I'll do more looking for the leak tomorrow but difficult to see past the underside plates.... thx for the input
