Jesus... that's just not feasible by any means. I guess the only option we have as 100-series owners in the US is to go OEM (unless someone knows of an alternative option).I’ll try but their buy-ins are typically really high (100x units)

Hot take: OEM headers are honestly worth the money even compared to DT.I guess the only option we have as 100-series owners in the US is to go OEM (unless someone knows of an alternative option).
Everything you said is very true........if you were talking to normal rationale folks! But you know anyone reading this already has the cruiser sicknessHot take: OEM headers are honestly worth the money even compared to DT.
Personally I'd much rather spend $1200 in a different way on my vehicle and the alleged 20hp depends on a lot more than just the headers (engine to engine there will be variation, what cat-back setup you use can choke the flow, etc.)
Put another way, you'll have to run a custom exhaust from front to back to really see performance gains and I'd rather spend that $2,000 on gas money and experiences. If the headers are leaking/ticking, obviously fix them if you can. DT will last forever, presumably, but 25 years isn't bad for OEM
Not a hot take at all! Honestly I'm in full agreement: OEM lasted this long, it's good value for the money. In my case, I have my passenger side cracked, and I know the driver side was replaced by a previous owner of my truck, so it's not about getting ponies out of this engine but rather fixing the problem once and for all.Hot take: OEM headers are honestly worth the money even compared to DT.

I think you're gonna want to fight for that money back, friend. They're not going to honor your buy.gave the money July 25
FYI- The good news is XAT Racing is looking to pick up the slack and are working with multiple companies to see what they can do about filling the gap in the market (DT not building headers for the 100 series). Although they don't have a time estimate right now on when that might be,
Has anyone actually installed these headers? $260 for a set seems too good to be true.the log manifolds and the doormans on rockauto are listed as stainless.
