Might be a dumb question but I cant find it anywhere and my marks adapter kit left the plate and top hardware out of it. What size bolts do the holes in the top of the adapter take? Figured I would try here before i took it to a hardware store and started trying bolts lol

lol I had sway bar quick disconnects on and once I disconnected them, I never reconnected them. I took it off for the swap and sometime off-roading I bashed the pins that held the sway bar up out of the way and bent them. So there was no easy way to reconnect. So I just removed it altogether. I...

Oh for sure. Was just getting things in rough spots using a mock up block. I have my engine ready to go this weekend. Will be using it to place everything. Just machined my crossmember today to make it work. Should fit ok now based on what a few of you have been telling me. Slotted it 1 1/4...

It's all good, thank you to those of you who talked with me and helped out. Sometimes getting another point of view helps get the brain going or see the problem in a different light. Appreciate all the help! Time to get to work on it and make it happen.

No interference in the tunnel from what i cans ee when I am in there, but the crossmember only pushes it forward, just got off the phone with selkirk. When i mocked it up using the stock Toyota crossmember, it was still crooked and back into the firewall. Using the Selkirk cross member, its...

Make sense. Well I will report back what I had to do when I get it in this weekend. I think clicking it on the crossmember toward driver side is gonna be the move. Other option is take material from passenger side and add it to driver side mount but that’s a lot of work and screws up clearance...

I totally get it. I used the crossmember because it pushes it forward and I didn’t have to modify the stock one. Now I’m just running into issues why it’s crooked. But I think I’m on track to figuring it out. Won’t know till Thursday or Friday when I can mess with it again.

That was my thought. But I have a smaller one I can buy in case I need it now I have been seeing that based off people’s responses. There is a million ways to skin a cat but there’s gotta be some consistency across these builds I’m sure

well i did a little research based off what @cruisermatt was telling @LT . io spoke to matt a couple months ago and he gave me part #'s he just now said that he has been doing it for awhile and thought the pulley was the stock on for the 08 silverado. which is the part number he gave me. But he...

so from what i have been researching, when i spoke to matt on the phone he gave me the part # for the 2010 silverado pulley which is larger, so i dont know what belt you need at this point, i imagine the tensioner could take that slack out?

I used the gm part # pulley but they gave me the alternate part number for the full disc pulley without the gaps. And the belt I listed worked fine for my engine set up. EDITED, I USED THE GM PART NUMBER FOR A 2010 SILVERADO 1500, SO ITS THE STOCK SIZE PULLEY THATS LIKE 6 INCH DIAMETER

I have an lq4 and 4l80. I am using the Selkirk crossmember and it moves the engine forward at least 2 inches but it’s slotted so you can set where you want, I have it all the way forward. I have no issues with the firewall anymore. But I feel my drivetrain is crooked. At least it looks that way...
