Ratchet straps worked like a charm. I installed the hook on the interior lip of the fiberglass top and the other on the windshield frame and was ever to crank it right into position. I then had to pooch it forward a bit in the same manner. Thanks for the info!

I may have to give this a try. I may cut some wood spacers, so I don't jeopardize the rain gutter. Maybe I can attach the door bow to the top and use that to pull the top into place.

I'm finishing up a body off restoration on a 77 40. I had to replace the (2) rear lower corners so the upper flange was never removed from around the bed and the bed was supported when doing so. The two sides of the hard top are installed as well as the piece that goes over the ambulance doors...

Hi, Looking for the brackets (set of 3) for attaching the large rubber band under to fasten tool bag under the driver seat on a 77 40. 2 brackets hold the band to the floor and the other accepts the steel bracket on the band for fastening

Do the above clamping of hose to alleviate all the other issues that maybe your problem. I had air trapped in my rear aftermarket cylinders that had to be dissembled in place while bleeding to burp the air. AS per 6F40j9 commented, this led me to installing rear discs.

Thanks for the reply. The 90119 08121 posted above looks like the bolt for mounting the bracket to the dash??? I retrofitted the side defrosters on my 77 and currently have allen head bolts with washers securing the window frame to dash due to the interference with the defroster.

For 78 and later 40's with the side window defrosters, are the OEM bolts still available that replaced the knobs that fasten the windshield frame to the dash? Would anyone have the part number if still available? Thanks Dave
