    $80/liter transfer case oil

My heretical liqui-moly is still doing fine in the TC. 🤣

Do you also run conventional oil in your engines? Do you run the OEM motor oil sold by Toyota as well?

    $80/liter transfer case oil

I honestly might just start dumping my pan every 15k miles and refilling whatever comes out. 🤣 So far so good with it though, I think it’s just a slightly thinner viscosity maxlife with maybe a slightly newer additive pack. Are you me? I’m also on R&P 5W-30 as well - my first go on the 200. I...

    $80/liter transfer case oil

The heretical red bottle fluid has been in all my vehicles for some time now as well! 🤣 I actually just fluid exchanged a new (to me) heretical fluid on my 200 - Valvoline Extended Protection. I’ve heard of people using the CVT flavored Valvoline in there as well as plain old Maxlife. I’m not...

    $80/liter transfer case oil

I’m not even that averse to the aftermarket pink coolants for the most part - times have changed and companies have caught on to the “speciality” coolants for sure. That being said I usually do pick up SLL. 🤣 I will say I am pretty anti-WS. There’s nothing especially redeeming about it and...

Don't forget this bottle too.

    $80/liter transfer case oil

Good tip! I used a mity-vac hand vac pump for the diffs and that stuff is THICC - got a nice workout lol. I thought about getting one of those pressurized pump fillers like that motive but was being cheap and was unsure if it could move thick gear oil - now that you’re confirmed, I’ll likely...

    $80/liter transfer case oil

Puttin’ my money where my mouth is. $10/bottle + shipping. The telescoping pour tube actually worked pretty well. I should save the bottles for later use.

    $80/liter transfer case oil

Oh I don’t doubt that - just making sure others know that this is a perfectly reasonable option that seems be lower priced than other alternatives and seems to match the “official” fluid specs a little closer. There may have been some outdated information in this thread about it, so I wanted to...

    $80/liter transfer case oil

Apparently a lot of Tacoma guys have run it with no issues in their transfer case that calls for liquid gold. Fwiw, liqui moly now lists Toyota 08885-81081 specifically as a replacement recommendation. From my BITOG research, this one comes the closest to the OEM fluid cSt viscosity @100C...

    Long Travel AHC

Thanks for all the answers! Would rear coil spacers lowering the rear pressures be desirable regardless of me not really seeking a weight capacity increase?

    Long Travel AHC

I'm a little confused on the rear shock spacer recommendation here - is a 1" coil spacer required/recommended when installing this? I'm typically unladen so I'm not terribly worried about preload for weight, but it could be useful I suppose. You mention Durobumps - having used them in the past...

    Tire Pressures

Somebody’s salty. Any actual response here or are you just gonna keep acting ornery? It should be assumed I’m talking 200 series in the 200 series sub forum without needing to question my motive - “description in my sig” or not. HTH

    Tire Pressures

As stated: 35 psi. I’m not sure RCTIP is even correct based on load equivalence, which calculates to 35psi. You may or may be right about the sidewall difference, but I think it’s also inconsequential since LT tires also have thicker ply sidewalls. If they’re just overestimating for “safety”...

    Tire Pressures

I know the little sheet Toyota put out says 40psi for LT285/70R17 - but load table calculations indicate 35psi to replicate the original P-metric loads. I’ve been running this for a while and it’s completely fine.
