Its not mine, but that doesn't mean that I don't want it. Spotted it while driving around today. It was just visible from the road. I doubt that it has moved in years and I doubt that it ever will.

The seatbelts look good mate. Safety is one thing that should never compromised for the sake of keeping the 'look' original so Im glad that there was someone out there with something close to original. Little LX looks good in the scrub too.

Nice little find mate. Pretty much exactly what I have been looking for too (and may have found if I can get the owner to sell it to me - it literally sits in his yard and doesn't get driven, but get reregistered every year) Im looking forward to following this build.

I realise that. That was why I asked if you could please post up some photos detailing the rear door. I just wanted to see how they hinged it and how the lock/hnadle was oriented and set up. Great looking build by the way.

Nice build! Can you post up some photos of the inside and outside of your rear door? I haven't seen a one piece on any other 40 except the south american versions and would love to see some detail.

Not mine, but this beauty(and the bluey next to it) were parked in a vacant lot after having been just unloaded from a transport truck but the looks of it. I was at work so stopped of a took a few photos, drooled a lot and left before getting to see who the owner is. I had never seen an FJ43...

The electric fan is a great idea. My dad put one on his '78 2F motor back in the day......amazing how much quieter the engine seemed with the electric fan only kicking in when it needed to rather than the 6 blade fan.

@7schulz Mate, that looks fantastic. So many builds are going for perfection now that it is refreshing to see this beat up and scratched body work staying the way it is. Great colour too!
