Builds BluezClues Build '79 RN37 Pickup

One was broken and one was good still but I replaced them both so they would match. The lenses are still available from toyota and were about 10 dollars each. Interestingly enough they are cheaper than after market ones I could find on ebay.

Bumper is on and it seems like some of thr bulbs in the back might be the originals for the rear turn and backup lights.

    Hog Rings: Educate me

I've done hog rings and zipties. zipties on my old tacoma... 16 years still no issue and they were the cheapest i could find... There are some places hog rings are easier and others zipties. this is the time to add heaters or change the padding to your liking...

    Got a Project BW200

Put some temporary headlights on it. I have a factory light but not really what I want for it. I have some freedomcycle cam bushings for the rear swingarm that are next up on the agenda.

Doors are mostly done. For now at least. Its been a long time since I made door cards and I went at it very differently this time so I will see how I like it later. At the moment they are easy to make so I can change it later. I got the dome light working and added a passenger side trigger...

    LX450 Newbie - Intro thread

That tent is up high and wow is that heavy. I think it is 2x as heavy as mine. I don't leave mine on all the time and just put it on when I need it. The rack I have is a Bowfin and I just leave the crossbars attached to the tent so when I install the tent I am only reattaching the crossbars...

    Quality aftermarket alarm suggestions

I don't know if there is one that unlocks driver on one press and all on two like other factory toyota setups but I think it could be figured out and done with any alarm. I would never let someone professionally install anything in to my wiring harness personally. I find their install techniques...

Dealership printed this out for me.

Literally nothing in the way to get to it. Sparkplug replacement is more involved than that job. I replaced my speedo gear and the o-ring after a good year of waiting to get around to it... I was so mad at myself for waiting as I've spent more time on every other fix on the 80.

1994 FJ80 Engine diagnosis by Technician (Hydro locked)

Sounds like you are thinking about paying labor for the work. You may need to depending on space etc. However a happy medium would be buying the rebuild and then buying the engine lift etc and putting it in yourself. Way cheaper than labor and you can knock 30% off the new price and sell it...

Have also found oem parts on rockauto and at Napa but you gotta be looking hard at the pictures to see them.

1982 RN48 SR5 Pickup- Saved From The Grave

If you are ok with not getting it just right... I might be ok to just pull the windshield, treat the current rust and jb weld/fill the bad areas for now. easier than welding and its not like you would be making it worse. I did my windshield alone, but I am very confident it is a lot easier with...
